The Blog WHO Magazine: On Trial: The Liquid Nose Job
This month, WHO magazine’s Senior Copy Editor Sarah Iasiello visited us at the Contour Clinics flagship Newtown location to trial our non-surgical rhinoplasty with Dr. Josh Wall.
Here’s what this journalist thought of her new nose and the Contour Clinics experience…
THE LIQUID NOSE JOB:
If you’re unhappy with the shape of your nose but don’t want to go under the knife, this non-invasive procedure using dermal filler could be right for you. Reality star Abbie Chatfield was thrilled with her results when she underwent the treatment last year, eagerly sharing before-and-after photos of her side profile to demonstrate her transformation.
VERDICT: “I’ve never loved my nose, but the idea of undergoing surgery to fix a small bump seemed a little too scary – and costly! The beauty of this liquid nose job is that it’s instant and there is no downtime. It took less than 10 minutes and didn’t even need numbing cream.
Unlike rhinoplasty, it’s not permanent. I was told by my injector, Dr Josh Wall, that results would last anywhere between 12 to 18 months and, on the off-chance I didn’t like it, there is the option of having the filler dissolved.
Luckily for me, I loved mine. The filler smoothed the side profile and bridge of my nose, and a bit of filler was added to the tip so it didn’t droop down as much.
If you’ve had anti-wrinkle, this hurts even less! All in all, a great experience.”
