Frequently Asked Questions

What areas can benefit from Beauty Booster treatments?

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Décolletage
  • Hands
  • Knees
  • Elbows

How are Beauty Boosters injected?

Our V2 Injector ‘gun’ is a delivery device that allows precise booster placement at the desired skin depth. It also allows accurate dosing with each microneedle, which increases the speed and efficacy of the treatment, decreasing downtime and discomfort. The device applies an inbuilt suction to the skin with every micro-injection. This improves the accuracy of each injection, as well as improving the comfort associated with a more uniform treatment.

Do Beauty Boosting treatments hurt?

The device used to apply the treatment also contains local anaesthetic and the micro-beads only perforate the top layers of skin. We can also apply an anaesthetic cream pre-treatment if requested. Therefore, there seems to be only slight discomfort during treatment.

How long is each treatment and how many are needed?

Each treatment lasts between 20-30 minutes. To get the best result, it is advised to have three treatments over a two-month period. The Beauty Booster treatment is not a one-off skin treatment but is being seen more as a part of a regular beauty/skin regime. Therefore, Top-ups are recommended every six months to maintain the positive effects the treatment has on your skin.

How long do results last?

Results are expected to last from 6-12 months

What are the potential side effects of treatments?

Beauty boosting treatments have very few associated side effects. Redness and blotchiness post treatment can occur, but usually resolves in 1-2 days. Bruising is very uncommon with this procedure.
