Who should get this facial?
A deeply cleansing facial is ideal for those with specific skin issues, and it’s also perfectly suitable for those who want to ensure their skin is properly cleansed at a deeper level to keep their skin health in excellent shape.
What does this facial involve?
A multi-tasking combination of a peel and a mask, this facial experience is a two-step process.
It involves a hybrid of deep thermal cleanser and antioxidant fruit enzyme mask for the active cleansing phase, followed by an oxygenation step for post-cleanse soothing and antibacterial healing.
How is the facial treatment delivered?
First, we cleanse and prep the skin to allow optimum efficacy of your facial’s ingredients.
Then we apply a Fruit Enzyme Mask combined with a Deep Thermal Cleanser. This step is where the deeply cleansing and purifying action happens. Pores are unclogged, dead skin cells are eliminated, and impurities are cleared away at a deeper level.
Next, we apply a foaming Oxygenation Peel and work it into the skin until the foam is rich and creamy. This foaming peel is then gently soaked off.
Finally, we apply a Hydrating Peptide Mask and leave for 10 minutes to soothe and plump your skin.
What goes into the facial to make it work?
The use of oxygen in skin care is well known for its healing properties and anti-bacterial benefits. This direct boost of oxygen delivered straight to your skin serves to soften, smooth and sanitise the skin’s surface. This is important for congested or acne-prone skin, as it helps to inhibit these bacterial issues.
Fruit enzymes are popularly used in skincare formulations to serve as a naturally derived AHA, working to break down or ‘digest’ dead skin cells and debris from the skin’s surface to reveal a brighter complexion. Think of them as nature’s skin refiner.
Thermal cleanser is what enables your pores to be more effectively cleared out. Thermal cleansers warm up when rubbed into skin or combined with water. Contrary to popular belief, hot or cold temperatures don’t open or close your pores. However, the importance of heat here is that it turns the stuff blocking your pores into a thinner substance that’s more easily dislodged.
