Deposits What You Need to Know

Your $75 deposit is credited towards your appointment cost when you attend. It is not an extra fee. Your deposit is applied directly to your treatment cost on the day, so you’ll only pay the difference.

Deposits help us manage appointment availability fairly, protect practitioner time, and reduce last-minute gaps that prevent other patients from being seen. It’s another way we commit to transparency and fairness for patients and practitioners.

How Complimentary Consultations and Deposits Work at Contour Clinics

Complimentary Consultations

All consultations at Contour Clinics are complimentary. The $75 deposit secures your booking, holds your appointment time and confirms your clinician – it is not a fee for the consultation itself.

Booking a consultation does not mean you have to proceed with treatment. There is no pressure or obligation to undergo treatment on the day, or any time afterwards. Your consultation is designed to equip you with a clear understanding of what’s contributing to your concerns, suitable options, and what’s realistic for you – so you can make an informed, measured decision in your own time.

What happens to your $75 depends on the choice you make on the day:

  • If you proceed with treatment, your $75 is credited to your treatment cost. You only pay the difference.
  • If you decide not to proceed, or you’d like time to think it over, your $75 is refunded in full to your original payment method.
  • If you cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your appointment, your deposit is refunded or transferred to your new booking.
  • If you cancel, reschedule or don’t attend within 48 hours, the deposit is forfeited.

What Happens in Your Consultation

Your consultation is designed to give you clarity on your concerns, what may be contributing, and what your options are, so you can decide next steps in your own time. If you’re not sure which treatment is right for you, start with a consultation. 

At your consultation we’ll cover:

  • A 1:1 discussion about what you’re noticing, your goals, and what you’d like to change or keep
  • Medical history and suitability screening, including relevant medications and health factors
  • An anatomy-led assessment of the area of concern, looking at structure, symmetry, skin quality and, where relevant, movement patterns
  • Clinical photography and, where appropriate, Vectra 3D imaging to map proportions and establish a baseline
  • A clinician-led discussion of options that may be suitable for you, including limitations, trade-offs and realistic expectations
  • A clear explanation of risks, aftercare and recovery considerations, tailored to your circumstances
  • A written plan and next steps you can review in your own time, with space to ask questions and decide without pressure

START WITH A CONSULTATION

Rescheduling & Cancellations

If you reschedule or cancel your appointment more than 48 hours before your scheduled time:

  • Reschedule: your deposit transfers to the new appointment
  • Cancel: your deposit is refunded to the original payment method

Refunds are processed immediately and can take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank. If your refund is taking longer than expected, please give us a call on 1300 896 166 so we can look into it for you.

If you reschedule or cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before your scheduled time:

  • Cancel or reschedule: deposit is forfeited
  • No-show: deposit is forfeited

That’s ok, we know life is busy and things don’t always go to plan. Give us a call on 1300 896 166 and let us know when you expect to arrive so we can do our best to fit you in on the same day. 

If We Need to Change Your Appointment

If Contour Clinics cancels or reschedules due to clinician or clinic availability, your deposit will be refunded (or transferred if you prefer).
