Mary is one of the proud owners and the Head Cosmetic Injector at Contour Clinics, and was visited by bellaMUMMA to chat about Mary’s holistic approach to cosmetic medicine, and rejuvenating her patients to deliver the results they want, while ensuring a completely natural appearance.

You, in three thoughts? Compassionate; eye for aesthetics; driven for patient outcome.

What inspires you? Achieving the best results for patient outcomes, and working towards Contour Clinics becoming the pinnacle of the industry standard.

What did you want to be when you were little? I have always wanted to be a nurse. I have a passion for helping people.

How did your business come about? I had a friend who owned a beauty clinic, but found that the best outcomes weren’t able to be achieved just through dermal therapy alone. So together, we looked into achieving better outcomes by way of cosmetic medicine.

What makes your day? When a patient feels strongly about an area of insecurity, and we achieve excellent patient outcomes that give them new-found confidence. That is hugely rewarding.
Or, when a patient recommends a friend who then comes to see me; knowing my work has made a positive impact and is trusted by word of mouth is very pleasing.

Three things in your life you can’t live without? First and foremost, my family; my husband and two kids. Exercise and shopping are both essential to my wellbeing and happiness, and the passion I have for my work keeps me going every day.

Best piece of life advice you’ve received? Don’t be disheartened by people stomping on your dream.

What will you be doing 5 years’ time? I’ll still be building Contour Clinics. No matter how high we reach, we won’t sit back. And I’ll always be working to achieve better patient outcomes – that’s a journey that never ends, because there will always be something new and exciting to master in this industry.
