Facetite in Sydney and Brisbane What is Facetite?

FaceTite by InMode is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure designed for facial and neck tissue tightening. Utilising radiofrequency energy, FaceTite applies controlled heat directly to the deeper skin layers and subcutaneous tissues. This process aims to stimulate tissue contraction, contributing to an immediate tightening effect that may continue to progress over several months due to increased collagen formation.

FaceTite is also utilised for targeted reduction of submental (under-chin) fat deposits. The treatment’s simultaneous skin-tightening effect differentiates it from traditional liposuction, potentially reducing skin laxity after fat removal.

Patients considering FaceTite or similar non-surgical facelift procedures in Sydney should evaluate treatment options carefully. Procedures involving superficial applications of radiofrequency or ultrasound energy might not reach the necessary depth of tissue required for substantial rejuvenation results.

Contour Clinics previously provided FaceTite treatments but no longer offers this service. We are committed to providing thorough and factual education to assist patients in understanding the various options for facial rejuvenation available in Sydney.

Our Preferred Methods of Non-Surgical Facelifting Superior Non-Surgical Alternatives Offered at Contour Clinics

At Contour Clinics, we provide several highly effective alternatives to FaceTite that offer greater value, consistent results, and reduced risks:

  • CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing: This advanced laser technology significantly improves skin texture, reduces deep wrinkles, and enhances skin firmness by precisely removing superficial layers of skin, promoting robust collagen production.
  • RF (Radiofrequency) Needling (Morpheus8): RF micro needling penetrates deeper skin layers, combining micro needling with radiofrequency energy. It stimulates extensive collagen formation, tightens skin, and offers precise, predictable results with minimal downtime and lower risk compared to invasive techniques.
  • Collagen Stimulating Products: Treatments such as bio-stimulators effectively trigger your body’s natural collagen production, enhancing volume and improving skin elasticity. These treatments provide sustained, natural results with minimal side effects.
  • Thread Lifting: This minimally invasive procedure provides an immediate facelift effect by strategically positioning dissolvable threads beneath the skin. Thread lifting significantly enhances facial contours, lifts sagging tissues, and stimulates collagen production, offering predictable, natural-looking results with minimal recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Facetite safe?

All medical procedures carry risk.  If undergoing any cosmetic procedure the risk should be explained as they relate to you by your cosmetic doctor.

Risks of Facetite include:

  • Swelling
  • Bruising
  • Nerve injury
  • Burns (superficial to full thickness burns)
  • Damage to underlying structures
  • Inadequate response to treatment. That is, poor results.

Is there a risk of nerve damage with the Facetite?

All medical procedures carry risk. The risks of any cosmetic procedure will be unique to your own personal circumstances and should be discussed with you prior to treatment in a slow and considered comprehensive consultation.

Nerve damage following Facetite is rare, but well documented. Particularly the marginal mandibular nerve that supplies the lower facial muscles can be damaged, causing an asymmetrical smile. Often this is temporary and nerve function returns to normal in several weeks-months.

It is essential you chose a doctor who has significant experience and qualification in facial anatomy and delivery of Facetite treatments.

Will I experience swelling after Facetite?

Yes. Swelling is normal post procedure and will vary in severity person to person. It is unlikely to persist for more than a few days. This may be accompanied by mild bruising that settles in 3-7 days.

What is the recovery period like from Facetite?

Swelling and tenderness is common immediately post procedure. Most patients require minimal over the counter pain relief.

Swelling and tenderness lasts 5-7 days. Most of our patients are back to work in 3-5 days depending on which areas of the face/neck have been treated.

You should wear a compression garment that has been provided to you for 3 days. This can then be worn at night for a further 7 days.

It is typically safe to return to physical activity within a few days post procedure.

When can I get back to exercise after Facetite?

Most patients elect to have a week off strenuous exercise post procedure. This is to allow swelling to reduce, and the inflammation post treatment to settle.

How quickly will I see results from Facetite?

Results typically take 3-6 months to show full effect.

How long do the results of Facetite last?

The company inmode, who supply the device suggest results of Facetite have been noticed to last between 5-7 years.
