How is Morpheus8 Radiofrequency Skin Needling performed?
Upon arrival at Contour Clinics, your Morpheus8 radiofrequency skin needling treatment begins with the careful application of a topical numbing cream to the treatment area to enhance comfort.
In our medically accredited facilities, your qualified dermal therapist will prepare your skin and address any questions or concerns prior to starting the procedure. Under the supervision of our experienced cosmetic doctors, the microneedling treatment is performed using the Morpheus8 handpiece, typically lasting around 10–15 minutes depending on the area being treated.
Immediately following the procedure, our team provides a soothing cooling mask designed to reduce any post-treatment redness or swelling. To further support comfort and recovery, we offer application of our specially formulated post-procedure healing foundation, assisting in minimising visible redness and promoting skin healing.
What is the recovery time for radiofrequency micro needling?
Some mild redness and swelling may occur immediately after the treatment, which usually subsides within a few hours to a day. This can be managed with ice packs or gentle cooling. The full effects of Morpheus8 treatments typically develop over several weeks as collagen remodeling and skin tightening continue. Multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal results, typically spaced a few weeks apart.
Recovery time expectations as they relate to your unique circumstances will be discussed in your complimentary consultation with one of our experienced cosmetic clinicians.
