Not loving the indent between your hips and legs? Are you relatively slender but still feel like you have love handles or saddlebags?
You could have hip dips!
Fortunately, this can be corrected. When expertly placed, hip dip filler can be used to create volume and fill this concave or 'dip' to create a smoother silhouette and a more eye-pleasing curve from the hips, over the buttocks and to the top of your legs.
‘Hip dips’, also sometimes called ‘violin hips’ or hip divots, are normal and part of the skeletal structure of the pelvis, caused by bone anatomy and muscle mass. They are not caused by fat deposits, or by your waistband causing an indent over time.
Despite exercise and fat loss, the indent can still be visible; even people with a low body fat percentage can have hip dips. However, fat distribution, such as more fat on your hips, can accentuate the appearance of the indent.
