The Five Dock Contour Clinics Experience

Five Dock was the first Contour clinic to open, and is where the team developed the doctor-led, consultation-first approach that now runs across all eight of our locations. The clinic has four treatment rooms and a long-established patient base, offering our full range of cosmetic medicine, skin and laser care.

A $75 deposit secures your appointment and is credited to your treatment or consultation cost on the day. If you need to change your booking, your deposit transfers or is refunded when you give us more than 48 hours notice. Read the full booking and deposit policy.

What to Expect at Your Five Dock Consultation

Five Dock is the original Contour clinic, and the consultation has always sat at the centre of how we practise here. Over the years the team, the technology and the range of treatments have all grown – but the starting point is the same. Sit down, talk through what you’re considering, work out what’s actually worth doing.

Most patients arrive with a concern in mind rather than a treatment name. Your practitioner’s job is to help you understand what may be contributing, what your options are, and what kind of plan – if any – might suit you.

At your consultation we’ll cover:

A 1:1 discussion about what you’re considering, your goals, and what you’d like to change – or keep
Medical history and suitability screening, including relevant medications and health factors
An anatomy-led assessment of the area of concern, looking at structure, symmetry, skin quality and, where relevant, movement patterns
Standardised clinical photography and, where appropriate, Vectra 3D imaging to map proportions and establish a baseline
A practitioner-led discussion of options that may be suitable for you, including limitations, trade-offs and realistic expectations
A clear explanation of risks, aftercare and recovery considerations, tailored to your circumstances
A written plan and next steps you can review in your own time, with space to ask questions and decide without pressure

Originally from Brazil, Aline completed her Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery with Distinction in 2003 at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Aline has 20 years of Intensive Care nursing experience. In pursuit of her long-time passion for aesthetics, she completed the Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables at the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science.

Mary Chigwidden is a co-founder of Contour Clinics and a Cosmetic Nurse with more than a decade of injecting experience. Registered since 2010, she built her clinical foundation in intensive care - rurally and at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, where she continues to practise alongside her cosmetic work. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing and postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care and Dermal and Cosmetic Nursing, and has spent years teaching other practitioners across the industry.

What draws Mary to cosmetic nursing is the people.
