Experienced Clinicians Comprehensive Wrinkle Consultations

At Contour Clinics, consultations for wrinkles and fine lines are provided exclusively by highly experienced cosmetic doctors and nurses, ensuring precise assessments tailored to your individual anatomy.

Facial anatomy varies significantly from person to person; factors such as skin thickness, muscle movement patterns, bone structure, and natural facial expressions can all influence wrinkle formation. Our clinicians use this detailed understanding to accurately identify areas of concern, carefully assessing skin texture, elasticity, and wrinkle depth.

Your clinician will discuss how these anatomical features relate to your specific aesthetic concerns and will suggest personalised approaches suited to your unique facial characteristics. By thoroughly explaining the underlying reasons for your lines and wrinkles, our team ensures you understand the rationale behind potential strategies to manage their appearance. Consultations include state-of-the-art 3D imaging technology, helping you visualise concerns and ensuring clear expectations and confidence in your personalised assessment.

Treatment Areas

Forehead Lines

Forehead lines, often caused by the overactivity of the frontalis muscle, can give the appearance of ageing and fatigue. With repeated movements over time, these lines can deepen and become visible even when the face is at rest.

Since the forehead covers a significant portion of the face, smoothing these lines and wrinkles can have a noticeable impact on your overall facial appearance. Read our Forehead Wrinkles Page for more details.

How Much Are Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?

Due to Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulations, we’re unable to publish pricing details online for cosmetic wrinkle treatments. However, we understand that cost is an important factor in your decision-making process.

At Contour Clinics, treatment pricing varies depending on individual needs, the extent of treatment required, and personal aesthetic goals. For a tailored estimate and detailed information, please feel free to call us directly, send us a message, or book a consultation. Our friendly team is here to provide you with personalised guidance, transparency, and clear pricing information to support your treatment decisions.

Prices

All consultations with our cosmetic doctors are complimentary and obligation free.

Regulations in Australia prevent clinics like ours from publicly advertising the prices of certain treatments. This isn’t about secrecy – it’s about ensuring all patients receive personalised, professional recommendations that are right for them. You can read more about it in Contour Clinics pricing.

All review appointments are complimentary. We understand that most of us lead busy lives. These reviews are not mandatory and only need to be booked if you feel it necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will wrinkle treatments hurt?

Discomfort expectations as they relate to your unique circumstances will be discussed at your complimentary consultation with our experienced cosmetic clinicians.

What is the downtime associated with treatment for lines and wrinkles?

In general, there is minimal downtime besides mild redness and occasional minor swelling. Most patients return to their daily routine immediately after treatments.

Will I still be able to make facial expressions after wrinkle treatments?

When performed appropriately, wrinkle treatments aim to soften lines without significantly affecting your natural facial expressions. At Contour Clinics, the focus is on achieving a balanced appearance while preserving your ability to express emotion naturally. During your consultation, your clinician will discuss treatment goals clearly, aiming to maintain your normal facial movements while addressing aesthetic concerns.

Do treatments for eye wrinkles make your eyes smaller?

No. If anything, relaxing the Orbicularis oculi muscle surrounding the eye will relax eye muscles, causing a widening of the eyes. This may lead to a wider eyed appearance.

What happens as the result begins to wear off?

Results generally lasts 3-4 months. As the effects wear off, the skin will return to its natural, pre-treatment state.

If you decide against further treatments, your skin will return to the same condition it was before treatment.

Is there anything I should avoid after my wrinkle treatment?

  • Rubbing or massaging treated areas for 5 days. Gentle cleansing is fine.
  • Alcohol consumption on the day of treatment.
  • Strenuous physical activity for 24 hours.
  • Lying flat for 4 hours post treatment.
  • Facial treatments including lasers, peels, needling and waxing, for 1 week post treatment.

How long after treatment can I wash my face?

You can gently wash your face immediately after treatment.

The key here is to be gentle and to avoid facial massage or pressure.

How soon after treatment can I wear makeup?

You may apply makeup 24 hours after your treatment. This is to allow sufficient time for skin healing.

Applying makeup sooner than this can increase your risk of infection post treatment.
