Skin & Laser Therapist
Marta Belachew’s interest in skin health began with her own experience of having darker skin and finding treatment options limited. That frustration defined a career built on inclusive, individualised care – now backed by more than 14 years as a skin and laser therapist and training across advanced technologies including laser, Morpheus8 and eCO2.
As someone with melanin-rich skin, Marta grew up very aware of the lack of understanding around how treatments can be appropriately adapted for deeper skin tones. Those challenges shaped her focus on skin health and led her into the dermal and aesthetic industry. Marta is currently undertaking nursing studies, further building her clinical knowledge and reinforcing her focus on evidence-based practice, communication and patient-centred care.
Marta delivers inclusive, personalised treatment planning, recognising that no single approach suits every skin type. She invests time to understand each patient’s concerns, goals and expectations before recommending a path, clearly explaining options and setting realistic expectations along the way. Her patients are encouraged to ask questions and take the time they need to decide.
Her focus areas include pigmentation, acne, scarring and overall skin quality, with particular interest in treating concerns affecting darker skin types. She has a strong interest in laser and energy-based devices, where careful technique and an understanding of different skin types are essential.
Marta brings a practical understanding of how skin concerns can present differently across skin types, along with a genuine focus on tailoring care to each patient. She is upfront about what she believes will and won’t be suitable for a given concern, and takes an individualised approach to every consultation.
Outside the clinic, Marta enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active and going to the gym. She loves travelling and discovering new places, cultures and restaurants.
