Katerina Taleska is a Senior Cosmetic Nurse and Practice Manager at Contour Clinics’ Narellan clinic. It’s a dual role that gives her both a clinical and operational perspective on patient care and relationships.
Katerina has been a cosmetic nurse for over a decade. She enjoys the way cosmetic medicine combines her clinical background with her interest in aesthetics. What keeps her engaged is the way that considered, well-planned treatments can change what a patient notices when they look in the mirror. And the fact that this field is constantly evolving, so there’s always something new to learn and a skill to develop.
Her genuine care for each patient comes through in the way she invests time to listen, understand their concerns and ensure they feel comfortable and informed at every step.
Katerina’s approach to treatment planning is visual – she uses facial charts and diagrams so patients can understand what is happening with their facial muscles, structure and ageing process. Patient priorities lead the way, worked through systematically over time rather than rushed into a single appointment, with a clear eye on what is realistic for each person’s goals and budget.
Facial assessment, balancing and regenerative approaches are areas Katerina particularly enjoys. She sees treatment planning as a collaborative process – building trust, working through a plan together and looking after each patient over the long term.
Outside of work, Katerina is family-oriented – she loves time with her husband and two boys. She also values travelling, good food, catching up with friends and making the most of her downtime – especially when life is so busy.
