Will my penis function normally afterwards?
All medical procedures carry risk. The risk as it relates to your unique circumstances will be discussed at your comprehensive consultation.
Your Contour Clinics penis enlargement should have no detrimental impact on your erection, sensation or orgasm. Your erections should feel just as firm.
Expectations as they relate to your unique circumstances should be discussed with your Contour Clinics doctor.
Are penis enlargement procedures safe?
Any medical procedure carries potential risks, and penis enlargement is no exception. At Contour Clinics, safety and hygiene are prioritised at every step, with treatments carried out in purpose-built, medical-grade facilities.
During your consultation, your doctor will discuss the procedure in detail, including how the treatment is performed, the expected recovery process, and the potential risks or side effects. You will also be informed about what follow-up care is available and what can be done in the rare event that further management is required.
It is important to understand that outcomes vary from person to person. The consultation is your opportunity to ask questions, review what options may be appropriate, and gain a clear understanding of both the benefits and limitations before making a decision.
What are the potential complications?
Complications from this procedure are rare, but you may experience:
- Bruising and tenderness – while this varies patient to patient, most will see some form of bruising within a few days of treatment.
- Swelling – Mild to moderate swelling typically can last anywhere from 1-10 days.
- Assymetry – Rarely, you may find parts that are not completely symmetrical. If this occurs your doctor will review in your follow up sessions and correct where required. Due to impossible to identify natural tissue bands under the skin, perfect symmetry may not be achieved in your initial treatment session. This is why we chose to provide a complimentary review at 1 week post procedure to top up any asymmetry as required.
- Granulomas – The possible hardening of product forming a lump. These are rare and are thought to be due to an autoimmune reaction. This has never been reported in the penis, but occurs for dermal fillers in the face at a rate of 1:5000.
- Infection – We perform all procedures in our medical grade facilities with a focus on hygeine, safety and sterility. All of our patients are placed on prophylactic antibiotics to reduce the risk of infection occurring.
Can volume used in penis enlargements migrate?
There is no evidence filler migrates when placed in the correct anatomical layer during a penis enlargement procedure.
The cohesive nature of the product placed means it has a tendency to stay where it is placed and its elastic nature means it can withstand the significant shear forces involved in intimate encounters.
Whilst product can be moulded for the first 2 weeks post procedure (actually helpful as it allows smoothing of bumps), it then integrates slowly with the penile tissue to become fixed in place.
Will I have lumps and bumps after my penis enlargement procedure?
It is possible for small irregularities to occur after any medical procedure, including penis enlargement. However, refinements in technique over recent years have reduced how commonly this is seen.
At Contour Clinics, your doctor will discuss aftercare instructions and schedule follow-up appointments to monitor your progress. These steps are designed to help ensure the product is settling evenly and to address any concerns early.
Every patient responds differently, and outcomes can vary. The consultation and follow-up process are the best opportunities to review your result and make sure you are comfortable with how the treatment is progressing.
