Non-surgical nose consultations at Contour Clinics begin with a complimentary comprehensive consultation with our clinical team. During your consultation, 3D Vectra photography of your facial anatomy may be used to support planning and help visualise potential changes.
Your clinician will assess your anatomy and discuss a personalised approach based on suitability. Consultation is designed to be educational, measured, and specific to you, with plenty of time to ask questions and have your concerns addressed.
In most cases, planning considers two key areas:
- Facial balance and nasal proportions: We look at how the nose relates to your chin, lips, cheeks, and overall facial harmony. This helps determine whether a nose-focused plan makes sense, or whether another area may be contributing to what you are seeing.
- Structural and movement assessment: Your clinician may assess underlying structural support including the nasal tip and columella region, along with movement patterns that can influence the appearance of the nasal tip during facial expression.
Muscle movement assessment: For some people, muscle activity can contribute to a downturned tip or tip movement when talking, laughing or smiling. Where appropriate, your clinician may recommend an approach that addresses this movement as part of an overall plan.
Where non-surgical options are discussed, our focus is on suitability, limitations, and realistic expectations. If you proceed, your practitioner will explain the procedure steps, comfort measures, and how we tailor the process to you.
If your goals relate to significant size changes, major deviation, breathing concerns, or structural issues that are best managed surgically, your clinician may recommend surgical referral as the more appropriate pathway.
Risks and aftercare are discussed one-to-one during consultation, as they relate to your individual anatomy, medical history, and the options considered.
