Dr Bavithra Maheswaran (affectionately known as Dr Bav) is a medical practitioner with training in General Practice and a focus on cosmetic medicine. With six years experience across a range of medical and surgical settings, she brings a whole-person approach to every consultation.
Before medicine, Dr Bav completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist, building a strong foundation in pharmacology and medicines management. She later completed her postgraduate medical degree, training across major tertiary centres in New South Wales, and progressed into General Practice training with a focus on chronic disease management and preventative health. Dr Bav is currently undertaking further training with the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine to continue refining her assessment and management skills in cosmetic medicine.
