When can I go home after my breast augmentation procedure?
Most of our patients having undergone our Ultra-Fast Recovery breast augmentation go home the day of surgery, where they have a support person at home to take care of them for the first 24 hours.
You may choose to stay overnight post-surgery or go home the same day.
Upon leaving the hospital you will be provided with emergency contact information in case of any rare issues once you are at home, pain medication to ensure complete comfort and antibiotics to reduce the already rare risk of postoperative infection.
When is my post-operative check-up appointment?
Your complimentary check-up appointment will be scheduled at around 1 week post procedure. At this time our specialist surgical team will check your progress, review your incision sites, and start our exclusive scar reduction, massage and exercise protocol.

The Contour Clinics team will be with you every step of the way in your recovery process. We pride ourselves on having the best aftercare support in the Country. We have an online support team available from 7am-midnight 7 days a week, along with an expert team available via phone during business hours.
Swelling and bruising is normal post operatively. This can be asymmetrical and will resolve in 2-3 weeks. If there is significant asymmetry, or a rapid swelling develops please inform our staff immediately.
Your implants may appear to be sitting high on the chest initially. This is normal and will settle to lower more natural positions in the weeks following your surgery. Occasionally, one may settle quicker than the other leaving a mild asymmetry. This is normal and will settle with time.
Dressings are left intact until your review appointment where our surgical team will inspect to ensure you are healing as expected. At this point, the Contour Clinics scar reduction process starts with a combination of gels/strips and after a few weeks a course of laser treatments. Contour Clinics are the country’s leading experts in scar reduction.
